Becka Nieder
Dancer
With a lifelong passion for dance that began in my toddler years, I’m thrilled to still be performing for others. My journey led me to major in Physical Education and Dance Education at Northern Illinois University. Since the summer of 2019, I’ve been a member of L-Theory Collective, where I’ve had the privilege of performing and collaborating with an incredible group of artists. Beyond my love for dance, I am also a devoted mother to three amazing children. My oldest serves in the army, is married, and has the cutest daughter. My daughter is involved in the circus arts and shares my love of performing. The youngest is an avid football player and likes to dabble in the unicycle and juggling. Through my dance journey, I’ve discovered the power of movement, self-expression, and the beauty of artistic collaboration, and I look forward to continuing to share my love for dance with others.
Kristine Blitek
Dancer
Kristine Blitek sparked her passion for dance at an early age, training in a variety of styles throughout her childhood and teen years at pre-professional studios in the Chicago suburbs, with an extensive focus on ballet. After high school, she continued her dance journey at the College of Lake County, where she was actively involved in the Dance Department. She participated in the American College Dance Festival and performed in numerous college productions, which also led to opportunities to choreograph for showcases such as Fear No Art. While expanding her passion for dance, Kristine became a founding member of L-Theory Collective, which opened the door to both local and national performance opportunities. This experience further enriched her connection to modern dance, both technically and artistically, while deepening her engagement with the modern dance community.
Kristine is currently in her 13th year of teaching and continues to share her love of dance through technique classes and competitive choreography. Outside the studio, she enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the joys of mom life.
